Walk the Talk charity event coming in September

Every Sunday in September, Barbadians will have the chance, once they take up the challenge, to help their countrymen in need though a unique initiative.

That’s when the Red Foundation, led by 10 time Calypso King and patron Dr. The Honourable Stedson ‘Red Plastic Bag’ Wiltshire will hit the streets for the ‘Walk the Talk” charity event.

As he explains, the walk is broken down into four stages, each beginning at a different place every Sunday. The first is Ragged Point to the Concorde Experience in Christ Church on September 4th, the second from Concorde Experience to the CBC on September 11th, the third leg picks up on September 18th and goes from the CBC to Lancaster, St. James and the final leg on September 25th moves from Lancaster to North Point in St. Lucy.

Acknowledging that it is a big task, he says any effort to help people is worth the commitment.

The Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation has joined forces with the Red Foundation to get the message out about the event.
