Police at District ‘E’ Station are investigating the circumstances surrounding a stabbing incident which occurred around 11:00 a.m. today along Gibbs, St. Peter.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a dispute at a worksite involving two men resulted in one of them receiving stab wounds.
The victim was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance personnel, where he is currently receiving medical attention.
A suspect is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
Investigations are continuing.
