Lawrence Lionel Burke, better known as “Bill”, of 263 Rowans Park, St. George, Funeral Director Assistant of Waithe’s Funeral Home, retired Bus Driver of The London Transport, Son of the late Adina Burke and Alfred Cox, Husband of Editha “Jean” Burke, Father of Corleta “Voney” Joseph, Maxine Burke and Michael Ramsay - all of the U.K. and Mark Burke of Norway, Grandfather of Robyn, Nathan and Tyreece Joseph - all of the U.K., Step-father of Henderson and Julian Ryce - both of the U.K., Brother of Celestine Burke, Avril and Harold Cox and the late Luther Burke, Uncle of Winfield and Geoffrey Burke, Desmond “Toddy” Burke, Wendy Bailey and Yvette Belgrave, Great Uncle of many, Cousin of Ezra Murray, Dorothy Branch and Ezzard Burke - all of the U.S.A., Drucilla Brathwaite, Janette, Maritta and Leslie Jessamy, Kathleen and Kelvin Burrowes, Father-in-law of Desmond Joseph of the U.K., Relative of the Burke, Cox, Jessamy, Reid, Burrowes and Bradshaw families, Friend of many.

The funeral of Lawrence Lionel Burke leaves Waithe’s Funeral Home, Greens, St. George on Friday, August 10th, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. for the St. Augustine Anglican Church, Market Hill, St. George, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. for the service. The cortege will then proceed to the Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, the Ridge, Christ Church for the interment.

The Organist and members of the choir are asked to attend.

Floral tributes can be sent to Waithe’s Funeral Home not later than 12:00 noon on Friday.
