Inez Gittens nee Pinder, better known as “Carol” or “Ma-Me”, of Lemon Arbour, St. John and formerly of Todd’s Land, St. George, Member of St. John’s Parish Church Army, Daughter of the late Archibald and Fredrica Padmore, Widow of the late Whitfield Gittens, Mother of Lolita Pinder, Douglas Gittens of the U.S.A., Maureen, Neville, Margaret, Pauline and Audrey Gittens, Grandmother of twenty-five, Great-grandmother of many, Great-great grandmother of many, Sister of Celestine and Venistine Parris, Gwendolyn, Winifred and James “Po-Boy” Padmore, Aunt of Pastor Leslie Padmore and many others, Relative of the Pinder, Gittens, Padmore, Alleyne, Grosvenor and Holder families.


The funeral of Inez Gittens nee Pinder leaves Waithe’s Funeral Home, Greens, St. George on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017 at 2:15 p.m. for St. John’s Parish Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:45 p.m. for the service. The cortege will then proceed to St. John’s Cemetery for the interment.


The Organist, members of the choir and Church Army are asked to attend.


Floral tributes can be sent to Waithe’s Funeral Home no later than 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
