Miriam Ovida Gittens, age 94, of Gibbons Boggs, Christ Church, formerly of Clifden Hill, St. Philip, Beloved wife of the late Ulric Gittens, Mother of Elric Gittens and Edeana Mitchell - both of the United Kingdom, Lemuel, Veneta, Hazel, Roy, Marilyn and Andrea Gittens, Cherished grandmother of Tony and Andrea Mitchell and Joanne Greubel - all of the United Kingdom, Stephen Highland of the U.S.A., Ralston, Adrian, Althea, Nigel, Sherwyn and Andrei Gittens, Carol-Ann Ince and Five others, Great-grandmother of Terrell Ince, Renaldo Hinds, Rohan, Justin, Rachad and Christian Gittens, Aaliyah Forde, Amber Taylor, Damanii Devonish and many others, Great-great-grandmother of One, Sister of Calvin and Evans Pilgrim, Aunt of Douglas Goodridge, Patricia Pilgrim, Hondell Greenidge, Sheila Shepherd and ffteen others, Special friend of the Deane family.

A Thanksgiving Service celebrating the life of Miriam Ovida Gittens will take place on Thursday May 03rd, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Philip Parish Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet, followed immediately by the interment in the Churchyard.

The Organist and members of the Church Choir are asked to attend.

The body will repose for viewing on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the start of the service during which time floral tributes will be gratefully accepted.

Monetary donations towards the upkeep of the Church will be appreciated.

Final Arrangements Are In The Care And Trust , of Jo-Anne Jones Funeral Services And Pre-Arrangement Centre Ltd., “Clovelly”, Welches, Christ Church.
