Richard Sinclair Glasgow, age 97, affectionately known as “Wogsie” or “Wogs”, of Rose Gate, St. John and formerly of Oldham, Greater Manchester, Son of the late Drucilla “Zepher” Glasgow and Aubrey Gittens, Husband of the late Cordelia “Pet” Glasgow, Father of Glendine Mayers, Orlando and Philippa Glasgow, Adopted Daughter of Donna Thompson of the U.K. and Winston Thompson of the U.S.A., Grandfather of Michelle, Justin and Chenelle Glasgow, Keisha and Stanford Hylton of the U.K., Darren and Kelly Mayers and Aaron Glasgow, Great Grandfather of thirteen - all of the U.K., Brother of Lawrence and Clayton Gittens and Ersula Thorpe, Uncle of Gloria and Cyril Clarke, Ernestine and Kay Carter, Mavis, Eustine, Gary, Ricky, Patsy and Anthony Glasgow, Sandy Philips-Glasgow, Erna Gittens and many others of the U.K., U.S.A. and Barbados, Father-in-law of Michael Mayers and Carol Glasgow, Brother-in-law of Leotta and Doreen Glasgow, Gloria Gittens, John, Hazel, Joel and Ezra Pollard, Relative of the Glasgow, Howard and Gittens families, Friend of Clyde and Madelaine Brown.


The funeral of Richard Sinclair Glasgow leaves the Belmont Funeral Home, Belmont Road, St. Michael on Friday, August 03rd, 2018 at 12:15 p.m. for Massiah House Worship Center, Massiah Street, St. John where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. for the service. The cortege will then proceed to Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge Christ Church for the interment.

Floral arrangements may be sent to the Belmont Funeral Home no later than 11:45 a.m. on Friday.
