Violet Armeta Layne, age 95, of Jericho, Nr. Market Hill, St. George, Wife of the late Martin Layne, Mother of Stephen Layne of Canada and the late Esther Murray, Grandmother of Richelle, Dwight, Lisa, Matthew and Marquita all of Canada, Great-Grandmother of Nia of Canada, Shakeira, Shaquon, Shaquille, Ramon, Renalda, Joshua, Mario, Renako and Kerani, Great-Great-Grandmother of Jaedan, Jaliyah and Takeara, Mother-in-law of Bettine Layne of Canada and Dalbert Murray, Stepmother of Sherwyn, Shirley and Gregory, Relative of the Blunt, Clarke, Farmer, Forde, Prescod, Smith and Wiltshire families, Friends of members of the Proute Wesleyan Holiness Church and many others.

The funeral of Violet Armeta Layne leaves the Belmont Funeral Home, Belmont Road, St. Michael on Friday 29th, December, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. for the Faith Wesleyan Holiness Church, Jackman Main Road, St. Michael, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1:00 p.m. for a service. The funeral will then proceed to St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, St. George for a second service at 3:00 p.m. followed by the interment.

The organist and members of the choir are asked to attend.

Floral arrangements may be sent to the Belmont Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Friday.

Viewing of the body will take place at the Belmont Funeral Home from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
