Evans Sylvester Payne, age 74, better known as “Giggs”, of Shop Hill, St. Thomas, Husband of Corah Payne, Father of Harriet and Andrea Armstrong and Cheryl Harris, Grandfather of five, Brother of Virena Richards, Chesterfield, Martin and Orman Payne, Ena Gibson and Alneta Cummins, Uncle of Victor and Decarlo Payne and many others, Cousin of many, Brother-in-law of Algora Payne, Selbert Richards, Alfred Gibson, Velda Carter and Erla Small, Relative of the Harper and Lowe families, Friend of Owen Lowe, Charles Parris and many others

The funeral of Evans Sylvester Payne leaves Gabriel Edghill’s Funeral Home, 102 Cane Garden, St. Thomas on Tuesday, August 15th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. for St. Thomas Parish Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m. for the service, followed by the burial.

The Organist and members of the church choir and Men’s Fellowship are asked to attend.

Flowers may be sent to Gabriel Edghill’s Funeral Home no later than 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Viewing of the body takes place in the Chapel of Gabriel Edghill’s Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Bus transportation will be provided at 2:45 p.m. from Shop Hill to the Church and back.
