Joseph Nathaniel Parris, age 82, affectionately known as “Joe” or “Paker”, of Blackman’s Tenantry, St. Joseph, retired Watchman of the Grantley Adams Memorial and St. Elizabeth Primary School, Son of the late Millicent and Henry Parris, Father of Chantel and Cameron Small and Paul Cumberbatch, Grandfather of five, Brother of Violet Austin, Cephas and Rosaline Parris and Ordene Foster, Cousin of many, Uncle of Doleen, Ethridge and Maureta Austin of the U.S.A., Merlene, Moreen, Marcia, Dalton, Ophneal, Duncan and Norman Austin, Alfred Austin and Edward Griffith - both of the Royal Barbados Police Force, Catherine Inniss of the U.K., Philip and Lennie Griffith and Rohan Foster, Brother-in-law of Anthony Foster, Relative of the Grant, Knight, Mascoll, Morris, Catlyn and Parris families, Friend of many.

The funeral of Joseph Nathaniel Parris leaves the Tranquility Chapel of Two Sons Funeral Home, Stadium Road, Bush Hall, St. Michael on Wednesday, July 18th, 2018 at 1:15 p.m. for the St. Annes Anglican Church, Parris Hill, St. Joseph, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:00 p.m. for A Home Going Service, followed by the interment


The Organist and members of the choir are asked to attend.

Floral arrangements can be sent to the Tranquility Chapel of Two Sons Funeral Home no later than 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Viewing of Joseph Nathaniel Parris will take place in the Tranquility Chapel of Two Sons Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
