Pethwick Wharton, age 85, better known as “Buzzard”, of Bartlett Tenantry Road, Sargeants Village, Christ Church, former Employee of the Sanitation Service Authority, Husband of Elise Wharton, Father of Althea and Gloria Wharton, Monica Lashley, Patricia Pollard-Thomas, Althea Pollard, Glenville Callender and seven others, Stepfather of Betty, Claudine and Cheryl Walrond, Esther Green-Aboagye and Shirley Best, Grandfather of Kimberley, Ackeem and Treston Wharton, Justin, Marissa and Elijah Lashley, Akeem and Sheena Pollard and many others, Great-Grandfather of Natalya Wharton, Jason Callender and many others, Uncle of Donald Wharton of the Sir Winston Scott Polyclinic, Lionel Wharton, Erma Wharton-Jemmott and many others, Relative of the Wharton, Greenidge, Walrond, Carter and Callender families, Father-in-law of Stephen Lashley and Roger Thomas.


A Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Pethwick Wharton takes place on Saturday, January 06th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cornerstone Wesleyan Holiness Church, Sargeants Village, Christ Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet, followed by the interment at the Christ Church Cemetery.


Flowers may be sent to E. Pamela Small Funeral Home, “The Lawns”, Vauxhall, Christ Church, on Saturday, January 06th, 2018 no later than 11:00 a.m., or may be delivered to the Cornerstone Wesleyan Holiness Church, Sargeants Village, Christ Church, before the start of the service.


Visitation takes place in the chapel of E. Pamela Small Funeral Home, “The Lawns”, Vauxhall, Christ Church from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday.


Bus transportation will be available from Cornerstone Wesleyan Holiness Church, Sargeants Village, Christ Church, to the Christ Church Cemetery and back.
