The Queen Elizabeth Hospital has received almost twelve and a half million dollars in philanthropic donations over the past four years.
And according to its CEO Dr Dexter James, those contributions have come from individuals, corporate groups and some countries.
One of them is the Peoples Republic of China.
Its latest gift worth over US $200 thousand came Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, the Chinese ambassador to Barbados, Yan Xiusheng, is confident the supplies will further boost the hospital’s health care services.
