Barbados passport remains the strongest in the Caribbean.
The island has placed 21st in the 2018 Henley Passport Index.
The index by Henley and partners - a London-based residence and citizenship planning firm, ranks the travel documents based on data from the International Air Transport Association.
Japan topped the list with its passport deemed the most powerful passport worldwide, followed by Singapore at second, and France, Germany and South Korea, tied for third place.
Trinidad and Tobago increased by two spots compared to its 2017 ranking, placing 30th in this year's list.
Guyana also leapt two spots from 59th place in 2017 to 57th place.
Afghanistan and Iraq were at the bottom of the 2018 Henley passport index.
