The traditionally all girl musical showcase, Honey Jam is about to get some diversity this year.
Founder, Ebonie Rowe says in what could become an annual occurrence, male performers have been added to the show's line up.
Ms Rowe was speaking at the official launch of the event recently, where she said the idea was inspired by a request from one of the audition judges.
During the launch, Ms Rowe also introduced this year's participants and they treated the audience to a few tunes.
Ms Universe Barbados, Megan Theobalds also spoke at the event. She said the Honey Jam progamme is similar to the local leg of the competition.
