A Bridgetown-based company is on a mission to transform the city into a 24-hour shopping hub.
That company, Optimum Health, is suggesting that the late opening hours at Christmas time indicate that with little effort, Bridgetown could become a new economic zone.
Chief Executive Officer, Max Millar, says the company is preparing to roll out a number of projects, with a view of reviving economic activity in the city.
Mr. Millar was speaking during the launch of a business incubator centre for young entrepreneurs in Mall 34 on Broad Street.
It included a tour of the mall's second floor where the centre will be located.
Mr. Millar believes the services offered by the centre could particularly benefit recently retrenched workers, as traditional jobs are on the decline.
