The Barbadian songstress and two others held in connection with half a million dollars in cocaine, will be spending Christmas in prison.
That was the judgment handed down by Magistrate Wanda Blair, when the trio once again appeared in the District 'E' Magistrate's Court.
Last month, 38-year-old Betty Griffith-Payne, her sister 35-year-old Marie Griffith, and 34-year-old Guyanese national Kwanza Canterbury, were charged with the unlawful possession of cocaine, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and conspiracy to traffic the drug.
The sisters face additional charges of handling the substance valued at $625 thousand dollars.
They will return to court on January 2nd, 2018.
