It's been 37 years since the Barbados museum last hosted a sea shell exhibition and now Barbadians will get the chance to look at the vast collection on display.
It's coming through a temporary exhibition entitled 'She sells, sea shells'.
It will run from August 21st to October 27th.
Assistant curator of natural history at the Museum Kerron Hamblin says it demonstrates how important seashells are to the biological and geological makeup of beaches.
He says they are highlighting seashells to draw attention to the threat of climate change and beach acidification.
