Daughter of the late Irene Arthur.

Mother of Laughton “Jeff” Downes.

Grandmother of Chelsea Downes.

Mother-in-law of Gloria Eastmond-Downes all of Canada, Sister of the late Ivy Clarke and Katie Green.

Aunt of Rudolph Clarke, Hazel Greene, Margo Williams of the U.S.A. and many others. Great-Aunt of Edward, Junior, Indira Downes and Toni Williams all of the U.S.A., Lawrence Downes and many others.

Relative of the Downes, Green and Clarke families.

Friend of Rev. Lorton Moore, Mr. & Mrs Carl Downes, Mr. & Mrs Ethelbert Mayers, Eleanor Ashby, Eloise Kellman, Fred Cook, Jackie Marshall-Clarke and family, Torrell Holder, Romel Lawerence, Dr. Charles Sister Atherley, Nurse Herbert and the Staff of the Geriatric Hospital.

The funeral of Dorothy Agatha Downes takes place on Friday, February 15th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Gospel Hall, St. Elizabeth Village, St. Joseph, where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the service. The cortege will then proceed to Nicholls Memorial Cemetery, Hillswick Village, St. Joseph for the interment.

Flowers may be delivered to Alvin Hinkson Funeral Home, St. Elizabeth Village, St. Joseph, no later than 9:30 a.m. on Friday.

The body will repose for viewing at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the start of the service.
