The variety store at the QEH is once again up and running thanks to the League of Friends of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Mrs Lucita Richards-Ward and Ms Norma Bowen cut the ribbon at the official grand reopening Tuesday.
The store will be selling a wide range of inexpensive household goods including food and drink and personal hygiene products.
Former president of the League, Jacqueline Brathwaite says it has been a long and hard journey.
The League celebrates its 52nd birthday on November first and current president Gilbert White says two of the main functions of the League are providing general companionship and paying special attention to children.
