A US based charity has teamed up with a local volunteer organisation to assist patients at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Care Isles, which is based in Brooklyn donated a number of care kits containing personal hygiene products and supplies.
They were handed over to the League of Friends of the QEH who will distribute them in the hospital.
The charity started by Claudia McLawrence-Riley serves to uplift the healing spirits of the patients.
Vice president of Care Isles Ermine McLawrence, says the donations fit in with its motto, It's a Heart that Cares.
Immediate past president of the League of Friends of the QEH Jacqueline Brathwaite, welcomed the partnership with Care Isles.
