The 2026 sugar harvest in Barbados is expected to last a bit longer than initially anticipated.
That update came from Minister of Agriculture, Food and Nutritional Security Shantal Munro-Knight.
Dr. Munro-Knight provided an overview of this year’s sugar crop, while also addressing a number of issues that have affected the industry since the start of the harvest in March.
