Chief Fire Officer Errol Maynard is cautioning householders against overloading electrical outlets and leaving the stove unattended heading into the Yuletide season.
He says this is necessary to avoid unwanted fires at this time of the year, and stresses to all Barbadians not to take any chances.
Chief Maynard was speaking at the scene of a fire at Precision Electrical Sales and Services, in Bridge Cot, St. George, over the weekend.
