The Barbados Fire Service has 20 new firefighters following the pass-out parade of Cohort 42.
The graduates completed six months of intensive training, including fire suppression, rescue operations and emergency medical response.
Minister of Home Affairs Gregory Nicholls says Government is working to modernise the service and build greater disaster resilience.
