Barbados’ historic FIVB U18 WC campaign comes to an end

Barbados’ historic run at the FIVB Beach Volleyball Under-18 World Championships in the Netherlands came to an end Friday after losing their final two Pool B matches.

The Barbadian duo of Joshua Ashby and Cael Greenidge went down to Germany in straight sets early this morning, 21-9, 21-14.

Ashby and Greenidge then suffered another straight-sets defeat, this time to New Zealand this afternoon.

The pair lost that match 21-11, 21-17.
