Defending champions Barbados have named Theanny Herbert-Mayers as captain for the 2026 Cricket West Indies Regional Rising Stars Women’s Under-19 Tournament, which bowls off in Antigua from August 8 to 15.
Herbert-Mayers will lead a talented squad determined to retain the regional title, with Eboni Brathwaite appointed vice-captain.
Barbados will begin their title defence on Saturday against Guyana Under-19 Women in their opening fixture.
The Barbados contingent departed the island earlier today under the guidance of Head Coach Sherwin Campbell and Assistant Coach Charlene Taitt.
