The Barbados Trust Fund Limited has disbursed 5 261 loans to the tune of 28.2 million dollars to businesses over the past seven years.
General Manager Gerald Amos says the fund has contributed to just under seven thousand jobs, with some businesses employing as many as five people.
And he notes 3,151 females have borrowed money from the fund, compared to 2 610 males.
