After weeks of public complaints and long delays, the Barbados Licensing Authority has announced that a new digital system is now being installed and is expected to be operational soon.
The Authority says the persistent downtime of the old platform was the result of major technical failures that could no longer be repaired.
Motorists have been voicing their concerns on social media, reporting cancelled bookings and hours-long waits at Licensing Authority locations.
Deputy Chief at the Licensing Authority, Lynette Williams, gave this brief update.
