The St. Joseph branch of the Barbados Labour Party has unanimously nominated Ryan Brathwaite as the new candidate to contest the next general election.
The process took place just over an hour ago at the Grantley Adams Memorial School. Mr Brathwaite was the only person seeking nomination.
Speaking after his nomination, Mr. Brathwaite said he plans to be a candidate who will always be available to his constituents.
Outgoing member of parliament for the constituency, Attorney General Dale Marshall, thanked the constituents of St Joseph for their unwavering support during his tenure as their MP.
