The Barbados Labour Party is preparing for a major political event this weekend, as members of the St. Joseph branch get ready to choose their next candidate for the upcoming general election.
This will take place this Saturday, November 22, at the Grantley Adams Memorial School at 4:30 p.m.
Chief executive officer of the party, Senator Pat Parris, says all systems are in place, and notices were sent to members.
The party expects representation from all 30 BLP branches and says “red will be the colour” at Grantley Adams Memorial School, as members descend on St. Joseph for this important democratic exercise.
The BLP says it is fully prepared for Saturday’s nomination and anticipates a smooth and transparent process.
