For the first time in its 35-year history, the National Sports Council Bodybuilding and Body Fitness Championships will be staged at the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium.
Last year’s edition was held at the Combermere School.
Now, the stage is set for the Wildey Gym on November 28th as primary, secondary and tertiary level athletes compete.
Speaking at the launch, senior coach at the NSC and co-ordinator of the event, Sandrene Jordan, said they have surpassed last year’s list of 50 competitors, with 85 now entered.
Regional manager of Lifestyle Wellness and public relations officer of the Roger Boyce Classic, Shakira Doughlin, says plans are in place for the championship to grow in 2026.
