CIBC CEO describes MOU with UWI as symbolic

The University of the West Indies and CIBC Caribbean have signed a memorandum of understanding, one that Chief Executive Officer of the bank Mark St. Hill says is symbolic.

Mr St. Hill says the MOU relationship is all about working with the university to prepare the students who transit the university to be productive members of society.

Speaking at the signing, he said CIBC Caribbean is keeping the commitment it made to the region in 2002 when it was formed, and in 2003 when it established its charitable foundation.
