Data sovereignty is a top priority for the Caribbean Social Network.
Daniel Dasouza, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, said at the launch that the initiative aims to help integrate the Caribbean.
As the region’s newest internet service, he emphasised that the platform is created for Caribbean people and operated by Caribbean people, noting that nothing has been left to chance.
Dasouza explained that the network is designed to connect Caribbean businesses and individuals, while promoting culture and tourism and marketing the region to the world.
He added that groundwork on the project began in 2017, progressing through testing and development phases, and that everything is now set and ready to proceed.
