Electric vehicles less likely to catch fire, officials say

As more electric vehicles hit the road in Barbados, some motorists have raised concerns about the risk of fires.

But fire officials say the evidence shows electric vehicles are actually less likely to catch fire than traditional gasoline-powered cars.
