General election deemed free and fair, but concerns raised

Election observers who monitored Barbados’ general election say the process was free, fair and transparent, but not without areas of concern.

Head of Mission Ian Hughes says while voting day went smoothly, stakeholders raised issues about voter enumeration, missing names, and low turnout.
