The preservation of our heritage is fundamental to our identity and the essence of who we are as a people.
That message was delivered by Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office with responsibility for Pan-African Affairs and Heritage, Trevor Prescod, at the launch of Heritage Month.
He was addressing the opening ceremony at the Legends of Cricket Lounge in Fontabelle, St Michael.
Minister Prescod said heritage is not just about remembering the past, but is a living foundation that should actively shape our present and future while uniting us despite our differences.
