The man who was killed in a shooting incident near St Mary’s Primary School yesterday afternoon has been identified as 29-year-old Shamar Corey Alleyne, of Greenpoint, St. Philip.
According to police, Alleyne was sitting in an area commonly known as The Canal when two people approached and fired shots at him.
He was hit, and his body was later discovered along 3rd Avenue, Chapman Lane.
