The Ministry of Transport and Works and the Barbados Workers’ Union are currently engaged in discussions regarding the new Barbados Mass Transit Authority.
This has been confirmed by Kirk Humphrey, Minister and Senior Minister of Infrastructure, who was correcting and apologising for an earlier report which suggested that both parties had already reached an agreement.
He was speaking during the third national consultation on traffic, titled “The Way Forward”, held at the St Michael School.
