An initiative for basketball players to pursue overseas careers is set to be launched.
That’s because the Pinelands Basketball Sports Club is targeting high school players, primarily encouraging them to register on an online portal that allows athletes to upload a profile in hopes of earning overseas scholarships.
Head basketball coach Ian Alexander, who also benefited from a scholarship, says the initiative will benefit players looking to pursue a career overseas.
