Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has slammed those who she says are opposing the Government’s plan to increase the minimum wage of workers.

She says while some may say the increase is not enough, it is more than what previous governments have done to assist workers in the country.

Her remarks this morning were brought before Parliament during debate on the Public Service (Appointments) Bill 2025.
