The Barbados Police Service has confirmed a shooting incident in the area of St. Martins, St. Philip.
Reports indicate that one person sustained injuries and was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private motor vehicle.
Police say initial investigations are at a delicate stage and further information will be released in due course.
