Lawmen in Barbados have a handle on the flow of illegal guns into the island and are putting measures in place to capture and seize those weapons.
This assurance from Commissioner of Police Richard Boyce who says every month, lawmen take guns and ammunition off the streets.
Commissioner Boyce says one of the reasons for this success is that the Police Service is in constant communication with law enforcement officials from other countries that are the source of these weapons.
At a press conference yesterday, the top cop shared that the Police Service has been reaping benefits from the intelligence and information it receives.
