There is currently a bill before Parliament awaiting debate that would allow for donor transplants to be done following death in Barbados.
That has been disclosed by Consultant Renal Transplant Surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Dr. Margaret O’Shea.
She was speaking as a guest on TV8’s Mornin’ Barbados about kidney transplants in the country.
