The Queen Elizabeth Hospital has kicked off a major digital transformation with the arrival of more than 450 pieces of high-tech medical equipment.
It’s the first stage of a project worth 60 million euros, approximately BDS $130 million.
The initiative of the United Nations Office for Project Services and the Ministry of Health aims to make patient care faster and more efficient.
Hospital CEO Neil Clark says once the project is complete, patients will even be able to access their medical records and book their own appointments online.
