Students at the Christ Church Foundation School have been urged to take their health seriously.
This advice was given by marketing official at the Barbados Diabetes Foundation, Marsha White, during a ceremony organised for the unveiling of a water station at the school.
Christ Church Foundation is one of thirteen schools to benefit from the initiative, which is the result of a partnership between the Church of Jesus Christ for Latter-day Saints, Hydrate Caribbean, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the Barbados Diabetes Foundation.
Miss White told the students that water is a superpower.
Before the students were presented with reusable water bottles, programme project leader at Hydrate Caribbean, Sheridan Greaves, encouraged them to take full advantage of the opportunity presented to them.
