A clarion call has been sounded for all Barbadians to donate to the island’s blood bank.
The call from Director of Clinical and Diagnostic Services at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Dr. The Most Honourable Corey Forde, who says there has been a reduction in donors.
Further, Dr. Forde is urging those scheduled for surgeries at the QEH to get their donors together to ensure the necessary blood is donated beforehand.
