Women are being urged to step forward and report instances of cybercrime and other incidents in the digital space.
The advice from Chairperson of Advocates Against Domestic Violence Barbara Daniel-Goddard.
She was speaking as the 16 Days of Activism continued against gender-based violence.
The focus this year is on the digital space, under the theme “Break Barriers, Build Safe Spaces”.
Ms. Daniel-Goddard says when women are abused online, it can be traumatising and highly emotional, and even result in job loss.
