It is time for leaders both in Africa and the Caribbean to pay urgent attention to deepening ties and strengthening linkages.
That was the message delivered by Chair of CARICOM and Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, during the opening ceremony of the second Africa-CARICOM Summit.
Dr Drew thanked Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley for insisting that the second summit was held following the first summit in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Summit is being held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, under the theme, “Transcontinental Partnership in Pursuit of Reparatory Justice for Africans and People of African Descent Through Reparations”.
