KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – Two Hungarians who were recently arrested at Sangster International Airport in the tourist capital of Montego Bay, to the west of here, are scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
Istavan Ozi and Andras Raffael are charged with possession of, dealing in and taking steps to export cocaine.
Reports are that on Wednesday, police conducted an operation at the airport and during routine checks, the Hungarians were seen preparing to board a flight destined for Manchester, England.
Their suitcases, which contained false compartments, were checked and found to contain packages of cocaine.
The men were taken to hospital where they expelled a total of 53 pellets of cocaine from their bodies.
The drugs weighed approximately 2.73 kilogrammes.
