The Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation is helping to fuel Crop Over excitement with several new weekly entertainment events.
Among them is 98.1 Signal Fridays, which has been launched in collaboration with the National Cultural Foundation and aims to be part of the momentum building towards the Crop Over season.
Speaking during the first event at First & Last Bar in Upper Carlton, St James, Marketing, Communications and Events Officer Alicia Hintzen said the series will continue right up to the Crop Over Opening Gala at Queen’s Park on 5 July.
She added that the CBC team has planned a variety of activities and parties every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, designed to get patrons into the spirit of the festival and keep the Crop Over energy alive across the island.
