The car park of the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation was transformed into a fitness studio yesterday as the company hosted the first edition of its weekly event, Soca Sweat.
The initiative is a collaboration between CBC and the National Cultural Foundation and will continue every weekend leading up to the Crop Over Opening Gala.
It attracted fitness enthusiasts and soca lovers alike, with participants dressed in their workout gear and ready to move.
Attendees enjoyed an energetic mix of soca music and exercise, combining fitness and entertainment as they prepare for the upcoming Crop Over season.
Speaking at the event, CBC Marketing, Communications and Events Officer Alicia Hintzen expressed optimism about the initiative and its ability to promote both music and wellness.
Ms Hintzen said the event will run for six weeks and feature different instructors each week.
She is encouraging members of the public to come out and participate.
