The Ministry of Culture is embarking on several initiatives to get more young people involved in the process of preserving and telling the country’s history.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office with Responsibility for culture, Dr Shantal Munro-Knight, says this is necessary amid concerns that Barbados has lost three noted historians in the space of weeks.
She spoke about the Government’s plans to get young people involved in the preservation and promotion of the heritage history, during the launch of Heritage Month 2025 at the Morgan Lewis Sugar Mill.
